Create an RSS feed of job listings

  • A RSS feed is a web feed that allows users and applications to access updates to websites in a standardized, computer-readable format.
  • You can create a RSS feed of a Candidate Experience career site's job listings and share with anyone who wants to consume it.
  • Whatever is configured on the Job Details page is included in the RSS feed except custom fields. Custom fields are job-related custom fields configured in OpenAdmin by Rival.
  1. From the Career Site List page, click a career site (top portion with the eye icon). The career site's job listings page opens.
  2. Locate the address bar. It contains the URL of the career site. Here is an example. (Yours will be different.) A browser address bar showing the web address jobs.rival-hr.com/Rival/Jobs
  3. Put your cursor at the end of the URL and type /RSS Here is our example: A browser address bar showing the web address jobs.rival-hr.com/Rival/Jobs/RSS
  4. Copy the URL and send it to whomever wants to consume it—like a job board. The job board consumes the URL so that they get the latest job listings.

Tip: If you want to download a static file to your computer—just to give it a look—press Enter after step 3 and save the file.
