Job List overview

The Job List shows the jobs available on a career site. You can format some aspects of your Candidate Experience Job List, including:

• Setting the format on how job location information displays for every job listed
• Turning on filters to search jobs by location, category, and position type

Add any information, links, images, and videos to display on the Job List page.

Show Rich Text

Select where the rich text is display on the Job List page.

Above Search Filters: Rich text appears above the search filters.

Below Search Filters: Rich text appears below the search filters.

Display Options for Job List

Group By

Select whether to group jobs on the Jobs Lists page.

Nothing: Jobs are not grouped. Choose how to order them (Order By setting) and results per page (Results Per Page setting).

Category: Jobs are grouped by category in alphabetical order.

Category (display hierarchy): Jobs are grouped by multi-level category (parent-child hierarchy) and listed in alphabetical order of the highest-level category name. Under each category, the jobs are listed in alphabetical order. This setting is useful for scenarios where you have child categories with the same name.

Order By

(Only available if Group By setting is set to Nothing)

Select to order job listings by posting date (ascending or descending) or alphabetically (ascending or descending).

Results Per Page

(Only available if Group By setting is set to Nothing)

Select the number of results to display per page. Options are up to 10 and up to 25.

Job Location Details

Job Location Format

• Select the format that represents how you want job location information to display for every job listed on your career site job list page. (City, Country name is the default.)

  Tip: If a job posting uses Remote for city name and has a state/province/region and country code, avoid selecting these formats for the job location details: City City, Country Code City, Country Name

Display count of additional locations

Enable this option to display a count of additional locations. When enabled, the location information on the Job List page for a job with a primary job location of Chicago, but also available in three additional locations, shows as Chicago + 3 more locations.

Job Search Filters

Collapse search filter section by default

This filter is off by default, which means search filters are expanded by default on the Job List page.

If you do not want the filters expanded by default, enable this option. The filters are collapsed on the Job List page. (Saves screen space)

Search jobs by location

Enable this filter if you want applicants to be able to filter jobs by location on the Job List page.

Tip: If remote job location is enabled (turned on) in Rival Recruit and remote locations have been created, remote locations will be available in this filter.

Search jobs by category

Enable this filter if you want applicants to be able to filter jobs by category on the Job List page.

Search jobs by position type

Enable this filter if you want applications to be able to filter jobs by position type on the Job List page.

Job List Override URL

Route applicants to this Job List page instead of the CX Job List page

If you want to route job seekers to a page other than the default Candidate Experience Job List page, enter the URL of your preferred Job List page.
