Notification Center

Notification Center is a new feature designed to improve your workflow and efficiency on the Rival Search platform. We’ve heard your feedback that managing different Projects, email requests, and other processes can be difficult, so we’ve launched Notification Center to organize all of that information in one place.

Important events like a candidate reply or a new email found will trigger a notification at the top right corner of the Rival Search interface. You can then click to access more details about that notification and take action immediately. With this feature, you will never miss an opportunity to email that perfect candidate!

Types of Notifications

With the launch of this feature, we are closely monitoring the number of notifications that are sent out to make sure that you are not inundated with messages. Therefore, we had to prioritize the type of events that will create a notification. We are always thinking of adding new notifications so if we are missing something, we encourage you to reach out to our Customer Success team or your favorite Product Manager!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

There are too many notifications! How do I turn them off?

You can still manage your notifications in your Settings page.

To get to your Settings, click on your user icon on the top right corner and then navigate to Your Settings>Notifications. From there, you can uncheck notifications in the "Browser" column.

How do I mark a notification as "read"?

If you hover over a notification, you will see a small dot on the right side of the notification. Clicking on that dot will mark a notification as "read" or "unread".

Will the Notification Center change the emails I receive?

Notification Center will not impact emails from Rival Search that you’ve opted into. However, we think this feature is much better than receiving an email! Therefore, we recommend turning off some email notifications so that you are not double notified about the same events.
