Validation
Date and Text Input elements can be validated. You set validation on the element's Edit Properties page.
Date validation

| Future Date | Date entered is a future date. |
| Past Date | Date entered is a past date. |
| Past Date 16 or more years | Date entered is 16 or more years in the past. For example to ensure that an employee is at least 16 years old. |
| Past Date 18 or more years | Date entered is 18 or more years in the past. For example to ensure that an employee is at least 18 years old. |
| Today’s Date | Date entered is today. For example for signing a document. |
Text validation

| ABA Routing Number | Value entered passes the ABA routing number check digit validation. |
| CA Postal Code | Value entered is a properly formatted for a Canadian Postal code in the format: A8A 8A8 |
| Decimal Values | Value entered is a number with not more than 2 decimal places. |
| Email Address | Value entered is formatted like an email address. |
| Four Digit Year | Value entered is between 1000 and 2999. |
| Numeric values | Value entered only includes numbers. |
| Social Insurance Number (CA) | Value entered passes the Canadian SIN validation routine. |
| Social Security Number | Value entered meets the US Social Security Number validation rules. |
| US Zip Code | Value entered is 5 digits or 5+4 digits. |
| US Zip Code OR CA Postal Code | Value entered passes either the US Zip Code or Canadian Postal Code validations. |
| Zero or One | Value entered is either a zero or one. |
| Telephone in 10-Digits | Value entered is exactly 10 digits. |
| Telephone in 10-Digits with Dashes | Value entered is formatted with digits and dashes: ###-###-#### |
