Source with ROSI (open search)
- This topic tells you how to perform an open search, which is not associated with a specific job posting.
- Best Practice: Start with a broad search and then narrow it down after you evaluate your talent pool.
- Alternate method: Source with ROSI for a job posting
- From the navigation bar, click Candidates>Source with ROSI. The Source with ROSI tool opens.
- In the Job Title box:
- Click the Preferred drop-down, type a job title and click to select it.
- The system generates intelligent suggestions using machine learning and artificial intelligence. Click a suggestion to select it.
- (Optional) Select the Current check box if you want search results only to include people who currently hold the job title(s) you selected.
- (Optional) If you want to exclude job titles from the search, click the Exclusions check box, type a job title and click to select it or drag and drop any of the job titles listed in the Preferred list. Do this for each job title you want to exclude.
- In the Skills box:
- Click the Preferred drop-down, type a skill and click to select it.
- The system generates intelligent suggestions using machine learning and artificial intelligence. Click a suggestion to select it.
- (Optional) If you want a skill to be required, click the Required check box, type a skill and click to select it or drag and drop any of the skills listed in the Preferred list.
- (Optional) If you want to exclude skills from the search, click the Exclusions check box, type a skill and click to select it or drag and drop any of the skills listed in the Preferred list.
- Search results appear on the right side of the page. The results are broad so you will likely want to narrow the results by applying additional filters (next step). Use any combination of the following filters and settings to narrow your results.
- Location
- Diversity (this filter is available if at least one diversity type is selected)
- Education
- Experience
- Highlights
- Industry As you select filters and settings, search results change and become more narrow and focused.
